Last weekend I did my first ever radio interivew. Southend Radio invited me to talk to them about Shadow Magic last Sunday morning at 8.10am.
8.10am? Was anyone going to be up? And if they were up, would they be listening to Southend Radio or watching the highlights of Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing?
I was rather afraid that the stammer would raise its ugly head and that I’d be like a rabbit caught in the headlights (or sound like one, anyway). But it actually went OK … I even managed to laugh at one point. I’ve been sent the recordings, so I’m going to ask Matt the very nice website man if he can put a link here. So then you can judge for yourself whether I sound like a small fluffy creature in sitting in the fast lane of the M25. :-)
