The very first Brentwood’s Children Lit Fest took place over the last few weeks … and it was great! It was brilliantly organised by Natasha and Jim from the Chicken and Frog bookshop, and I can’t thank them enough for inviting me to join them.
I had a really fun session working on creative writing with some very lively young minds … some I had met before, others I hadn’t. It was quite a small group, but I can honestly say I’ve never EVER come across such a concentration of great writing. There are some very talented future authors out there. So I better watch my step!
AND it resulted in an invitation to appear at the first Redbridge Children’s Lit Fest in October. Can’t get better than that!
